V Belt Split Pulley Assembly for Polar EMC 2 Paper Cutters. (231482, 231481, and 017289) This precision machined aluminum split pulley is a direct replacement for the original die cast pulley used on the tapered output shaft on the Polar Model EMC hydraulic pump. Its outside diameter measures 7-3/8" (187mm). This pully has been Hardcoat Anodized to give maximum hardness and wear resistance to the belt contact surfaces. This complete assembly fits the Polar 92 EMC II, Polar 92 E, Polar 92 ED, Polar 115 EMC II, Polar 115 E, Polar 115 ED, Polar 137 EMC II, Polar 137 E, Polar 137 ED, Polar 155 EMC II, Polar 155 E, Polar 155 ED, Polar 176 E, and the Polar 176 ED models. Included with this assembly are both pulley halves, three steel adjusting shims (our part number G53773) equivalent to Polar part numbers 230068 & 240788, and the three bolts to hold the two halves together. Each shim is .5mm (.020") thick. The hub half of the pulleys have threaded steel inserts installed where the two pulley halves bolt together, similar to the originals, to prevent the threads from stripping.
