This turnbuckle nut or adjusting nut is part of the Polar paper cutter pull arm assembly (sometimes called a draw arm). It fits the Polar 92 EMC, 92 EMC MON, 92 E, and 92 ED paper cutters. The overall length measures approximately 105mm (4-1/8") long, it has an outside hex size of 32mm, and it has both a LEFT Hand and a RIGHT Hand M20 x 1.5 internal threads. It is machined complete from SAE 1045 steel.

The slot is to access the dowel pin that is installed in the upper pull arm section.

Some cutter models used the tapped holes in the sides of the turnbuckle nut, and some models do not use these tapped holes.
